The Royal Institution Singapore conferred to Anthony V. Gedang the title of Doctor Fellow in Environmental Management (DFRIEnvM) for his contribution to environmental protection and preservation in the Philippines during its 27th International Conference and Conferment Ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on July 30, 2019.
Gedang is the founder, president, and CEO of environmental service companies Envirokonsult Equipment and Services, Inc. and Waterkonsult Equipment and Services, Inc.
Envirokonsult is a wastewater engineering company that pioneers the designing and building of Fully Mechanized Facilities (FMFs) or septage treatment plants. Envirokonsult has built six FMFs across the Philippines to date located in Bay, Laguna; Cordova, Cebu; Naga, Cebu; Angeles, Pampanga; Lipa, Batangas; and Baguio City.
Waterkonsult is the pioneering and leading provider of Non-Revenue Water Reduction equipment and services in the Philippines. It provides advanced leak detection technology that uses highly-evolved techniques in flow and pressure data acquisition and management, pressure zone analysis, and operation and maintenance of pressure reducing valves.

The DFRIEnvM is the fifth fellowship title conferred to Gedang by the Royal Institution Singapore. Earlier this year, Gedang received the titles of Senior Fellow in the Royal Institute of Entrepreneurs (SFRIEntr), Fellow in the Royal Institute of Artists (FRIArt), and Writers (FRIW).
In November 2018, Gedang was conferred his first fellowship in the Royal Institute of Management (FRIM).
